Becky Myers

Becky Myers serves as Associate Director of Content Design on Turnaround for Children’s Research and Development Team. In her role, she designs high-quality content, tools and learning experiences that translate and apply the science of learning and development. These tools are utilized in bi-directional partnership with school leaders and educators as they work to create equitable school environments for all students. 

Becky plays a key role in all aspects of the strategic development of Turnaround’s resources, including executing on design cycles and consulting with colleagues about the design of learning experiences. She contributes to Turnaround’s online resource hub by developing content and tools for the Developmental Relationships component of Turnaround’s Whole-Child Blueprint and works closely with members of the Building Educator Capacity and Mobilize the Field teams to maximize impact for students. Becky joined Turnaround in 2017 as a Curriculum Designer. 

Becky brings experience as a special education teacher, a teacher leader, a curriculum designer, and a parent. She has also worked in academic research at Brown University’s Sleep and Development Lab. 

Becky holds an M.S. Ed. from Lehman College in childhood education and special education, and a B.A. from Brown University in psychology.

Who do you admire most in your life?

My parents. They have shown me how varied your accomplishments can be, how to take setbacks in stride and to act with care and integrity in your interactions with others.

What is the greatest invention of all time?

Coffee. It helps get me through each day as a new mom!
