Vice President, Development
Stacy Barr serves as Vice President of Development at Turnaround for Children. In this role, she leads the Development team, which is responsible for raising the private philanthropic and competitive public revenue through building and managing relationships with foundations, corporations, individuals, and public agencies.
Stacy joined Turnaround in 2017 as the Director of Development. Before Turnaround, she served as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Summer Search, a national youth development organization dedicated to creating greater equity by increasing the number of students from low-income backgrounds who successfully enter and complete college. Under her leadership, Stacy increased network-wide institutional funding by nearly 30 percent. Previously, at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Stacy served as the Manager of Foundation and Corporate Philanthropy, where she managed a portfolio of nearly $6 million. Stacy started her career in marketing at Random House.
Stacy holds an M.P.A. from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in public relations from the University of Florida.

What motivates you?
