Washington, D.C. NPR affiliate WAMU 88.5 mentioned Turnaround for Children in a piece from their “Guns & America” series called “Gunshots And Lockdowns: When Nearby Gun Violence Interrupts The School Day.”

The piece, by Alana Wise and Luis Melgar, included quotes from principals of Turnaround partner schools including Hendley and Ketcham elementary schools, and reported that “Hendley works with education research group Turnaround for Children to train its teachers to support students with trauma.”
