Turnaround for Children Presents at CCSSO Webinar

Turnaround for Children Vice President of Partner Impact, Amy Nicholson, presented at a Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) webinar titled, “Support Schools Reopening: Insights from the Science of Learning and Development.”

Nicholson presented alongside Jennifer DePaoli, Senior Researcher at The Learning Policy Institute. The webinar was facilitated by Ryan MacDonald, Senior Program Associate at CCSSO.

During their session, Nicholson and DePaoli shared findings from the science of learning and development and discussed “implications for policy and practice to better ensure students have conditions in place to re-enter school in the fall,” following the school closures in spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
