Pamela Cantor, M.D. Presents at EdTech Week 2020
Turnaround for Children Founder and Senior Science Advisor, Pamela Cantor, M.D., joined Jim Shelton of Blue Meridian Partners and Melina Uncapher, Ph.D., of the University of California San Francisco to present at EdTech Week 2020.
Their panel discussion titled, “Making the American Dream Real Again… and for All,” highlighted findings from the science of learning and development and addressed how educators can develop the whole child in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial inequity.
The group also discussed how educators can make learning synchronous for all students, ultimately creating a pathway that would enable economic mobility for all Americans. In addition, they discussed how technology can be used for both developmental and academic purposes.
