Turnaround Founder and Senior Science Advisor Pamela Cantor M.D. spoke at the webinar “Seizing the Moment: Reimagining Education Systems for Equity Through Whole-Child Design and Community Partnership.”
Hosted by Bank Street College of Education, Cantor was joined by John B. King and Shael Polakow-Suransky for a conversation about how the latest findings in neuroscience research can shape the understanding of childhood learning and development, and inform the redesign of classrooms to support the success of all students. The group discussed the power of relationships and context in teaching and learning, recent scientific research on human learning and development, system-wide change with a focus on equity and the whole child, and the importance of deep community partnerships.
