Growing Healthy Readers: Half-Day Literacy Conference

The Growing Healthy Readers half-day literacy conference, hosted by Reach Out and Read of Greater New York in partnership with United Way of New York City and Scholastic, was attended by leaders from the fields of education, health, literacy, and child development, and focused on finding solutions to the widening achievement gap between low-income students and their more affluent peers.
