Pamela Cantor, M.D. Speaks at Aspen Institute Weave The People Gathering
Pamela Cantor, M.D., Turnaround for Children Founder and Senior Science Advisor, was a featured contributor at the Aspen Institute’s Weave The People gathering in Washington, D.C., which brought together “250 people from around the nation who are healing America’s social fragmentation by weaving deep connections across difference in their communities.” The gathering was hosted by the Aspen Institute’s Weave: The Social Fabric Project, led by New York Times columnist and author David Brooks.
Dr. Cantor spoke as part of the session “How to Create Intimate Conversations,” alongside Shawn Barney (CLB Porter), Adria Goodson (Pahara Institute) and Agnes McKeen (Just Talk Suicide Prevention).
During the discussion, Dr. Cantor said:
“There’s no way to shake my faith in what’s possible for children if they are nested in deeply trustful relationships and environments designed to reveal who they are.”
