The Renewal Project Features Turnaround for Children’s New Three Rs
Turnaround for Children’s blog post, “The New Three Rs: Helping Children Thrive During The Pandemic and Beyond,” appears as a featured article on Allstate’s The Renewal Project site.
In the article, Turnaround Founder and Senior Science Advisor, Pamela Cantor, M.D. and co-author Kate Felsen share how adults can create home and school environments that inoculate themselves and the children they care for against the intolerable stress of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Cantor and Felsen, by focusing on the Three Rs: relationships, routines and resilience, adults and children can adopt activities and practices that “ignite the developing brain, promote wellness, and protect children from the damaging effects of stress all at the same time.”
The article originally appeared on Turnaround’s The 180 Blog.
