Turnaround Cited in Public School Facilities Planning Guide by Brooklyn LAB
Brooklyn Laboratory Charter Schools (Brooklyn LAB) released a planning guide which chronicles the school’s experience transitioning to remote learning in spring, to the reopening of school facilities in August 2020.
The guide, which is titled, “Public School Facilities Planning In the Era of COVID-19,” outlines the steps it took to safeguard the health and well-being of the entire school community amidst the school closures brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The document also references the Success Coaching Playbook developed by Brooklyn LAB in collaboration with Turnaround for Children, City Year, EL Education, The Forum for Youth Investment, The Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University, Transcend and Dezudio.
