Pamela Cantor, M.D. Joins edWebinar Sponsored by Digital Promise and Brooklyn Lab Charter School

Turnaround for Children Founder and Senior Science Advisor Pamela Cantor M.D. recently participated in an edWebinar hosted by Digital Promise and sponsored by Brooklyn Laboratory Charter Schools titled, “Schools Need A Success Coach for Every Learner.” 

The 60-minute webinar was centered around the recent launch of Brooklyn LAB’s Success Coaching Playbook, which helps train teachers and school staff to help students succeed in the time of COVID-19 and navigate remote, in-person or hybrid learning environments. Focusing on K-12 teachers, support staff and administrators, the webinar offered vital information and practical resources to ensure that all students have access to an adult who can guide them through trauma and stress. 

Turnaround—including Dr. Cantor—served as a key partner in developing the playbook, along with fellow presenters Jennifer Boyce and Kristen Davis of City Year, and Ron Berger from EL Education, among others.
