Turnaround at the 2015 Aspen Ideas Festival
Turnaround for Children was honored to be invited to the 2015 Aspen Ideas Festival. The festival brings together over 3,000 attendees and bills itself as “the nation’s premier, public gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times.”
President and CEO Dr. Pamela Cantor teamed up with Harvard educational neuroscientist Todd Rose and New York Times columnist Joe Nocera to deliver a session entitled, “One Mind at a Time: Taking Neuroscience from the Lab to the Classroom.” The room was filled to capacity and enthusiastic questions from the audience continued long past the allotted hour.
Following the panel’s success, Dr. Cantor was featured in The Atlantic and interviewed for The Perri Peltz Show on Sirius XM Radio.
