Turnaround for Children Participates In Reagan Institute Summit on Education Collaborative

Turnaround for Children Vice President of Partner Impact, Amy Nicholson, participated in the Reagan Institute Summit on Education (RISE) Collaborative “The Case for Social Emotional Academic Learning: Workforce Success,” held in Columbus, OH, January 29-30, 2020 and sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
The two-day summit was a gathering of field leaders interested in making connections between social emotional academic and and workforce readiness. Pre-reading and thinking references included the report “From A Nation at Risk to A Nation at Hope” by The Aspen Institute’s National Commission on Social, Emotional, and Academic Development (Turnaround Founder Pamela Cantor, M.D. served as a member of the Council of Distinguished Scientists for Aspen’s National Commission).
