Turnaround Joins Live Q&A Chat For Educators Presented by CASEL

Turnaround for Children Vice President of Partner Impact, Amy Nicholson, and Partnership Director, Joel Scott joined over 30 experts for a Live Q&A Chat For Educators.

The 60-minute forum titled, “Restarting The School Year With SEL” was hosted by The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).

The forum centered on Reunite, Renew, and Thrive: SEL Roadmap for Reopening School, a new tool designed by CASEL, with contributions from Turnaround and other partners, about how to support school leaders and leadership teams as they prepare for the return to school.

The Q&A was held in six chat rooms focused on key topics including: cultivating and deepening relationships; designing opportunities of adults to connect with students; creating safe, equitable environments that support student development; using data to improve student support; and developing community partnerships.
