Turnaround Presents at Google for Education Panel

Turnaround for Children participated in a Google for Education virtual panel discussion on July 22, 2020. What Edtech Leaders Need to Know to Provide Equitable Learning for All Students focused on the CARES act and how K-12 schools can adequately use that funding to prioritize populations most affected by COVID-19 school closures. 

Turnaround Vice President, Partner Impact, Gretchen Livesey presented on the resources Turnaround has been providing to educators nationwide. Resources that help implement The Three R’s and whole-child development while in a remote environment were discussed and shared with the group. 

The panel discussed the challenges of digital learning, providing equitable learning opportunities to all students, and how to provide ongoing support during the pandemic and beyond.
